Chris Christie conforms a heckler at Meg Whitman’s campaign event
September 25th, 2010 - 1:31 am ICT by Aishwarya BhattSep 24 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Chris Christie stood up to a voter who tried to heckle at Meg Whitman’s campaign event at Los Angeles on Tuesday.
The New Jersey governor was in the middle of a rally with the California GOP gubernatorial candidate when an audience from the crowd, Ed Buck shouted from the front row at Whitman “What are you hiding’ after he accused Whitman for not taking the questions. He further told Whitman that “You’re looking like Arnold in a dress’.
That was when Christie got back at Ed. He told him “You want to yell? Yell at me” and further accused Ed of being among those that yell and scream America into division. He however told him that they (Republicans probably) were there to get the country back on track.
Christie has been campaigning for Republican candidates throughout American and apparently he has had enough people like Ed, who just heckle them.
“I am not running for president in 2012 or vice president, and I’m not under any circumstance. No little trapdoor, no ‘don’t intend,’ I’m not doing it. I have absolutely no interest in running for president of the United States,” he said.
Christie has ruled out any ambition to run for the United States presidency in 2012 saying “I have absolutely no interest in running for president of the United States”.
