Bhopal, April 9 (IANS) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has got a bullet proof SUV, courtesy beefed-up security measures after an Intelligence Bureau (IB) alert warning of terror strike, sources said Thursday.
Chouhan’s security was strengthened after the IB warned of heightened terror threat to political leaders, including 11 chief ministers, across the country.
Normally the security of the chief minister is reviewed at regular intervals but a few additional measures have been taken in view of the latest reports, said an official of the state home department. He declined to share details of the security measures.
