Chinese women’s delegation meets Dikshit
September 21st, 2011 - 9:14 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Sep 21 (IANS) A Chinese women’s delegation Wednesday called on Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, a statement said.
The seven-member delegation, led by All China Women Federation vice-president Song Xiuyan, told Dikshit they were deeply impressed by the new infrastructure in Delhi, said a Delhi government statement.
The visitors also appreciated the role of Indian women who are hard working and have been holding important positions.
The members of the delegation said they have come to India to share their experiences and enhance understanding and friendship between women of the two countries.
