New York, Dec 5 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Finally there is some good news for the Clintons. After the Monica Lewinski scandal and Hillary’s unsuccessful attempt at the White House, it is finally time to cheer at some good news. As their only child, the twenty-nine year old Chelsea Clinton is now engaged to her longtime boyfriend Marc Mezvinsky.

Both Chelsea and Marc are childhood friends and they realized their deep feelings for each other when they went to Stanford to study. There without the glare of the constant media and political pressures, their friendship blossomed into love. Thus they got engaged on Thanksgiving Day and the marriage is set to be held next summer.

Marc Mezvinsky works as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs. Marc is the son of former Rep. Ed Mezvinsky, D-Iowa, and former Rep. Marjorie Margolies-Mezvinksy, D-Penn. His father was in the news when he pleaded guilty in 2002 to duping investors to the tune of $10 million after he got embroiled in a Nigerian scam.
