New Delhi, July 21 (IANS) Distressed at unruly scenes during the debate on the trust vote, Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee Monday urged all MPs to conduct themselves in a dignified manner in the house. The speaker’s plea came after MPs of the Samajwadi Party and the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) almost came to blows following some remarks Ram Gopal Yadav of the Samajwadi Party made during the debate.

“I would request all the MPs to conduct themselves in a dignified manner. There is a proper way to have discussions and we should adhere to that,” Chatterjee said.

The speaker had to adjourn the house for 10 minutes just after it had reassembled after the lunch break.
