Jodhpur, Oct 25 (IANS) The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Tuesday quizzed some producers of Rajasthani folk music albums here in connection with the disappearance of nurse Bhanwari Devi, sources said.

?CBI picked up some producers with whom Bhanwari had worked as an artist on albums,? a police officer told IANS.

Bhanwari Devi, who allegedly features in a CD in a compromising position with sacked state minister Mahipal Maderana, has been missing since Sep 1.

The officer added that the CBI has not been able to get the CD yet.

Meanwhile, another CBI team took Shahabuddin, a key suspect in the case, to Palanpur and other places in Gujarat Tuesday. A car belonging to Shahabuddin, who had surrendered in a court here Saturday, was recently recovered from Palanpur by Jodhpur police.

Sources said Shahabuddin is accused of working under the instructions of Sahi Ram Vishnoi - a small-time politician here who is now the only identified accused on the run.

Sahi Ram is believed to be close to sacked water resources minister Maderana, who has been accused by the nurse?s family for kidnapping her.

Police have already arrested two people — Sohan Lal Vishnoi and Baldev Jaat alias Balia — in connection with the case.

Maderana was sacked by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot Oct 16.

Maderana was among those named in a first information report (FIR) after Bhanwari Devi remained absent from duty from Aug 25, confined herself to her home for a few days and then vanished without trace Sep 1.
