Raipur, Nov 5 (IANS) Campaigning ended Thursday for the by-poll to Chhattisgarh’s Vaishali Nagar assembly seat.
The by-poll was necessitated after sitting legislator Saroj Pandey, of the state’s ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), was elected to the Lok Sabha in May.
Though there are a total of 15 contestants in the fray the main fight is between BJP nominee Jageshwar Sahu and Bhajan Singh Nirankari of the Congress.
