- Washington, Jan 12 (Xinhua) US President George W. Bush Monday reiterated his call for a sustainable ceasefire in Gaza, insisting that Hamas stopping rocket attacks against Israel is a must.Speaking to reporters at his last press conference, Bush said a sustainable ceasefire is impossible unless Hamas stops firing rockets into Israel.
“Israel has a right to defend herself,” said Bush, who is due to leave the White House Jan 20 after an eight-year presidency.
