Buddhadeb to skip CPI-M politburo meet again
October 16th, 2011 - 1:25 am ICT by IANSKolkata, Oct 15 (IANS) Former West Bengal chief minister and Communist Party of India- Marxist (CPI-M) politburo member Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee is likely to skip the politburo meeting in New Delhi Oct 17, a party source said.
“Buddhababu is likely to skip the politburo meeting this time also. He is having respiratory problems so he is advised against flying,” said the CPI-M source.
Since the assembly poll debacle in May, Bhattacharjee has been skipping all the politburo meetings except one which was held in Kolkata.
This was despite enormous pressure on Bhattacharjee from all the circles of the party to attend the politburo meeting.
