New Delhi, Aug 9 (IANS) Members of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) youth wing Tuesday clashed with the police, which lobbed teargas shells to disperse them, at Jantar Mantar during a protest demonstration calling for Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit’s resignation.
The protestors of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha want Dikshit to resign after the Comptroller and Auditor General’s (CAG) report blamed her for irregularities in the Commonwealth Games.
Police dispersed the crowds after a cane-charge and lobbing teargas shells.
