Lucknow, Oct 1 (IANS) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will soon come up with a “chargesheet” against Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati in a campaign against the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) government.
“The chargesheet will expose the misdeeds and corrupt practices committed by Mayawati and her government. With the chargesheet, we would reach the masses and unmask her (Mayawati),” BJP leader Kalraj Mishra told reporters here Thursday.
The chargesheet would primarily focus on “misuse of public funds by the BSP for setting up memorials and parks” in various parts of the state, he said.
“We believe the chargesheet would be ready by the first week of October and with it we will launch our campaign against the BSP government from Oct 14,” Mishra added.
The campaign will be carried out in phases.
“It will start from Azamgarh district and then gradually we will cover other eastern districts of the state. Later, it would spread to all the 71 districts of the state,” he said.
