BJP national council meeting in Indore next month

New Delhi, Jan 7 (IANS) The Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) national council meeting will be held Feb 17-19 in Indore, it was announced here Thursday.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the party’s national office bearers, the first since Nitin Gadkari took over as party president.
The meeting was attended by senior leader L.K. Advani and former president Rajnath Singh, apart from other office bearers.
The national council meeting would formally endorse Gadkari’s name as party president for a three-year term.
