BJP likely to announce presidential candidate today

New Delhi, June 21 (IANS) After days of hectic parleys, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is likely to disclose its stand on the presidential election Thursday, party sources said.
Leaders of Opposition in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley are likely to announce the candidate’s name at a press conference scheduled at 12 noon.
“The leaders will most probably declare their stand today,” a BJP leader, who did not want to be named, said.
