BJP, JMM to rule Jharkhand in rotation: Soren

Ranchi, May 7 (IANS) Jharkhand Mukti Morcha chief Shibu Soren Saturday said his party and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have worked out a rotation formula to end the political stalemate in Jharkhand and he would quit the chief minster’s office soon.
“I will quit in two to four days. The BJP and the JMM will rule the state in rotation,” Soren told reporters at the Ranchi airport after returning from New Delhi.
In New Delhi, leaders of the JMM and another coalition partner, All Jharkhand Students Union (AJSU), Saturday morning met BJP chief Nitin Gadkari to resolve the political crisis in Jharkhand.
However, in Delhi the BJP didn’t say anything about the rotation formula.
The political row was triggered when the BJP threatened to withdraw support after Shibu Soren voted in favour of the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) in parliament April 27 against the BJP’s cut motion.
