New Delhi, Sep 18 (IANS) Noting an “ominous” rise in Chinese incursions into the Indian territory, the opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Friday asked the government to bring out a white paper on the “ramifications of India-China relationship”.
“The BJP demands that the government of India should immediately bring out a white paper on the entire ramifications of India-China relationship, including the improvement and the strengthening of the infrastructure of our preparedness at the borders,” said party spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad.
He said Chinese incursions across the border with India have shown a “very disturbing and ominous rise” in the last few months.
“The nature of Chinese incursion is not only confined to Ladakh or areas in the northeast, particularly Arunachal Pradesh, but it is also now happening near Sikkim,” Prasad said.
