Bill to set up 16 new central universities passed

New Delhi, Dec 7 (IANS) Parliamentary approval was accorded to a bill seeking to create 16 new central universities with the Rajya Sabha passing the relevant legislation unanimously Monday.
The Lok Sabha has already passed the bill which will now go to President Pratibha Patil for approval.
