Bhardwaj assumed additional charge as Kerala governor
January 17th, 2012 - 12:24 am ICT by IANSThiruvananthapuram, Jan 16 (IANS) Karnataka Governor H.R. Bhardwaj Monday took additional charge of Kerala, standing in for M.O.H. Farook who has gone on leave.
Bhardwaj was sworn in at the Kerala Raj Bhavan by Kerala High Court’s Acting Chief Justice Manjula Chellur.
Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, his cabinet colleagues and other top officials were present on the occasion.
No top leader from the Left was present for the swearing-in.
