Be Indian, dress Indian, say new ministersMay 28th, 2009 - 4:41 pm ICT by IANS
New Delhi, May 28 (IANS) Go Indian - that was the mantra for the overwhelming majority of the 59 ministers sworn in Thursday.
They were in kurta-pyjamas, dhotis, saris, salwar kurtas and Nehru jackets, but three of them decided to strike a different note.
Cabinet minister M.S. Gill wore a formal business suit in beige with a matching tie. Minister of state Vincent Pala followed suit in black with a red tie.
Minister of state D. Napoleon went a little informal with a plain white shirt teamed with black trousers.
