Barbara Bush Speaks About Same Sex Marriage

barbaraFeb 2, (THAINDIAN NEWS) 43rd U.S. President George W. Bush’s daughter Barbara Bush recently made headlines when she made a video for the Human Rights Campaign, in support of same sex marriage. In that video Barbara Bush has even asked New York state to legalize gay marriage as well. Fred Sainz, the vice president of Human Rights Campaign told a reputed media outlet that the all the members of the campaign feel that Barbara Bush is an effective spokesperson and at the same time she brings in poise and dignity to their gay marriage campaign.

Fred Sainz also added that Barbara Bush has spoken eloquently about the whole issue and also about the fact that people should have the right to marry the person they love. The vice president of Human Rights Campaign also added that the daughter of 43rd U.S. President George W. Bush sends out a clear message to everybody including all the Republicans in the country as well. Along with Barbara Bush, many other veteran celebrities supported the gay marriage in the video. Renowned names like Mark Ruffalo, Julianne Moore and Mayor Michael Bloomberg of New York City also appeared in the video and supported gay marriage.

In the video, Barbara Bush introduces herself to the people and then says that she supports “marriage equality”. Barbara Bush then says that New York is about equality and fairness and hence everyone should have the right to choose their own life partner. In the end, she asks the audience to join Human Rights members for the cause. Human Rights Campaign’s President Joe Solmonese told a reputed media source that Barbara Bush’s “advocacy” shows that there is no party label in equality.
