Barbara Boxer claims victory over Carly Fiorina

New York, Nov 3 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Senator Barbara Boxer has claimed a win in the senatorial election at approximately 11:00 PM even though her rival Carly Fiorina hasn’t accepted defeat yet. Boxer stated that this was the most challenging election of her political career in spite of the 10 victories in a row in the past and this is her most enjoyable one as well.

There was lots of joy at the Renaissance hotel’s Hollywood ballroom where Boxer’s campaign team and fans had met after the election.

Eric Garcetti, president of the city council stated that they were excited and at the same time sad too. He replied to a question about the secret of the high number of wins by Republicans that Americans were appreciative of the great job being done by the Republicans. He explained that they had generated a lot of enemies due to their concern for health care and financial laws that were propositioned.

Mike Feuer, an assemblyman revealed that he was very unhappy with proposition 26 which only allowed fees to be accepted by senators when there is a two-thirds majority in favor of it.
