Bahrain arrests ‘leaders of strife’
March 18th, 2011 - 12:00 am ICT by IANSManama, March 17 (IANS) The Bahraini Army said it has arrested what it called “leaders of the strife”, who have called for toppling the government and communicating with foreign countries, Xinhua cited state-run BNA news agency in a report Thursday.
The BNA, however, did not give more details about the number and names of the arrested leaders, who have been also accused of inciting murder and destruction of properties in Bahrain.
The Bahraini authorities have reduced curfew hours, the agency stated in another report.
