Badal inducts three new chief parliamentary secretaries
June 17th, 2011 - 4:40 pm ICT by IANSChandigarh, June 17 (IANS) Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal Friday inducted three legislators as chief parliamentary secretaries.
Legislators Harmreet Singh Sandhu of Tarn Taran, Gurtej Singh Ghuriana of Balluana and Inderbir Singh Bularia of Amritsar-South were administered the oath of office by Badal here.
The state government now has 15 chief parliamentary secretaries. The post of a chief parliamentary secretary is of a senior government functionary who is just below a minister but above the bureaucrats in protocol.
