gtyAustin, May 25, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Texas Governor Rick Perry who fired his gun to take down a coyote in the month of February has inspired the gun sellers of America to add a new product to their stock. The gun is called “Coyote Special” and reportedly its a varmint. It was said that a similar gun was used by Governor Rick Perry who took down the coyote that was creating trouble for his little puppy. However, the gun that was used by the Texas Governor was a Ruger .380-caliber pistol that was manufactured by Sturm, Ruger & Co. Inc.

The manufacturer has recently come up with a new model of the varmint which has “Coyote Special” written on one side and “A True Texan” on the other. The box of the gun has a picture of a coyote looking up towards the moon against the backdrop of the Texas five pointed star. Speaking on the new version of the coyote killing varmint, McBride’s gun owner Joe McBride said that the governor has been to his office many times. The varmint without the laser costs $340 and if you want to have a replica of the one that Rick Perry uses, you shall have to shell out $180 more.

After the February coyote shoot out, Rick Perry told the media that he is permitted to carry a handgun owing to the fact that he is afraid of snakes. It is the very same gun which he had used to shoot the coyote which approached his dog while the governor was jogging near his mansion. The State itself has passed a law which allows people to shoot coyotes which has been a constant threat to animals and live stocks.
