Ranchi, Dec 26 (IANS) Union Tourism Minister Subodh Kant Sahai Monday said Anna Hazare is getting exposed with his comments against Congress leaders revealing his intentions.
“Anna Hazare is getting exposed. Initially, we believed that he was fighting against corruption. His recent statements against (Congress general secretary) Rahul Gandhi and (Congress chief) Sonia Gandhi have exposed him,” Sahai told reporters here.
He called Team Anna members “cheap people”. “Some of them are taking extra money for air tickets and they talk about corruption,” he said, in an indirect reference to former police officer and key Team Anna member Kiran Bedi.
Sahai also questioned the timing of Hazare’s proposed fast when the Lokpal bill has been tabled in parliament and will be discussed Tuesday.
