Anna breaks vow of silence

New Delhi, Nov 4 (IANS) Anti-corruption activist Anna Hazare broke his ‘maun vrat’ Friday at Rajghat after observing nearly three weeks of silence, an India Against Corruption (IAC) member said.
“Bharat Mata ki jai,” Hazare said after paying tribute to Mahatma Gandhi at his memorial at 7 a.m., the IAC activist said. The 74-year-old activist had started his vow of silence Oct 16.
