Andrew Young Comes Clean On John Edwards Scandal

Jan 30, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The former aide of John Edwards- the former Democrat Senator, Andrew Young earlier gave a hint on how the senator tried to hide his extramarital affair and used him as the scapegoat. In a recent interview, Andrew Young poured his mind out to ABC News on the topic. He said that the new found love of the former senator for the baby of his ex-mistress is dubious considering the fact that he denied the existence of the affair for a long time. It was only a few days back that John Edwards came out open about the fatherhood and the affair as well.
Andrew Young also said that the former senator admitted the paternity, as a book that is soon to be published, contains details about the affair. As a matter of fact, Andrew Young is the author of the book. He used to be an aide of the former senator. When John Edwards was a contender for the Presidential race, Andrew Young was quite loyal to him and initially agreed to his proposal to pretend to be the father of the senator’s love child. Obviously John Edwards did not want the scandal to come out in the open as it could harm his prospect and pose a trouble for the Democrats.
The book written by Andrew Young named ‘The Politician’ is going to be released shortly. Meanwhile, the former senator has not spoken much on the topic. The wife of the tainted senator, a cancer patient, has chosen to maintain her dignity on the matter and said that her husband’s confession has relieved her.
