Amar Singh under observation, say doctors
September 13th, 2011 - 11:13 am ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Sep 13 (IANS) Rajya Sabha member and former Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh was under observation Tuesday here at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) for a kidney-related ailment, doctors said.
Amar Singh was shifted from the Tihar Jail to AIIMS Monday evening.
Amar Singh was arrested Sep 6 for his alleged involvement in an attempt to bribe MPs ahead of the July 2008 parliament trust vote.
A medical report on Amar Singh is expected to be released by 11 a.m., an AIIMS doctor told IANS.
