green Washington DC, Jun 10 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Alvin Greene has been asked to quit the SC Senate over felony charges. He was asked by the party chairman to quit after the party discovered that there was a felony obscenity charge against his name.

Even though he was a virtual unknown before the Senate race, in the political arena, yet he managed to surprise all with his win. His political opponent was none other than Vic Rawl, who had a firmly established political machinery and team to help him in the election.

But the Army veteran Alvin Greene didn’t have any political godfather and was also bereft of a great political team, yet he managed to hold his own against Vic. He even used his own money to fight the elections, as he couldn’t raise money for his campaign, as he was a political novice.

The felony charge against him is that he showed pornographic material to a sophomore at the University of South Carolina. He showed porn to Camille McCoy. She recounts the incident and said that, “I said, ‘That’s offensive. He said, ‘Let’s go to your room now.’ It was kind of scary. He’s a pretty big boy. He could’ve overpowered me.”
