Al Gore and Tipper Gore to separate after 4 decades of marriage

Washington DC, Jun 1 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Vice President Al Gore and his wife Tipper Gore are separating after being married for 4 decades. And the both of them have thought about their decision for quite some time and they then decided to call it quits. They said in a statement that the decision to divorce is mutual. The statement to the Associated Press said that, it was “a mutual and mutually supportive decision that we have made together following a process of long and careful consideration.” The couple is also parents to four children. Their spokeswoman Kalee Kreider confirmed the statement, but she declined to reveal any more details about the case.
His wife Tipper Gore is a well-known advocate on the mental health issues, and she became a crusader for the cause, because her mother used to suffer from depression.
Al Gore ran for the White House in 2000, but he lost the election to George W. Bush. He has also been a social activist for ‘climate change’ and has also managed to gather attention for the cause. He also won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007. He was also honored with an Oscar for the documentary “An Inconvenient Truth.”
