A British MP who wore a loud tie
January 20th, 2011 - 4:53 pm ICT by IANSLondon, Jan 20 (IANS) A British MP was speaking when an unidentifiable tune rang out - and the lawmaker explained that it was from a charity tie that he had accidentally turned on.Nadhim Zahawi was speaking on education cuts when the tune rang out for about 20 seconds, Daily Telegraph reported Thursday.
The Stratford-upon-Avon MP said that it was a charity tie that he had turned on by mistake and it had been picked up by a microphone above his head.
Deputy Speaker Dawn Primarolo advised him to be “more selective” in his neckwear.
