51-kg ladoo for Ajit Singh’s entry into union cabinet
December 18th, 2011 - 9:46 pm ICT by IANSLucknow, Dec 18 (IANS) The Uttar Pradesh unit of the Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) here Sunday evening celebrated the induction of its president Ajit Singh into the union cabinet as civil aviation minister by cutting a 51-kg ladoo.
While all prominent leaders of the party were stated to be in Delhi to attend the swearing-in ceremony, local office-bearers assembled at the party’s state headquarters.
Said Vishal Singh, the local spokesman of the party: “The function was presided over by Arif Masood, president of state Yuva Lok Dal who also distributed the ladoo to the hundreds of party workers and supporters who converged at the office.”
