13 killed, 81 injured in Mumbai blasts: Prithviraj Chavan
July 13th, 2011 - 10:49 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, July 13 (IANS) Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan said 13 people were killed and at least 81 injured in three blasts that rocked Mumbai Wednesday evening and said the terror strikes had been caused by “quite powerful explosives”.
“Teams of doctors are ready in hospitals,” Chavan told CNN-IBN.
He said 20 ambulances had been rushed to the locations of the blasts.
He appealed to the people to maintain peace.
Chavan said it was too early to talk of suspects and added that at least one of the blasts was quite powerful.
