Rochester, Dec 9 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A woman is looking for a stolen urn containing the ashes of her mother after taking it to a bingo game for luck. The police say the urn was stolen on Tuesday.

Diane Bozzi kept the urn in her bag and that is what the thief took away from her van. Officers say the thief was preying on unlocked vans and chanced on the bag. It is not known if the thief took the bag because of the content. Bozzi is a bingo lover and attened the game with her mother when she was alive.

She told reporters that before her mother died, she promised to take her ashes to every bingo game that she will play at. To that, Bozzi says her mother agreed and promised to give her “luck.” Her mother died in 2002.

Bozzi’s car was parked at Rochester in New Hampshire on Tuesday morning when the incident happened. She said she had left the urn in the car because she planned to go and play bingo later in the day. She returned to the van only to realize that the bag and of course the urn was gone.

The police are calling on the public to volunteer information that might lead to the arrest of the suspect.
