Livingston, Scotland Nov 1 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A 20-year-old Scottish woman endured labor pains to complete her driving test. Emma French says she decided to go ahead with the test because she didn’t want it canceled.

The joy of Emma was made complete when she realized that she had passed her test. She had to be informed of the status of her drive test later because she drove herself straight to the hospital after the test.

During a chat with the British newspaper Daily Mail, Emma said that, “Everyone was telling me to go to the hospital but I had waited so long for my driving test that I was determined to do it. I didn’t dare tell the examiner I was in labor in case he made me cancel the test.”

She explained that when she later told the nurses at the hospital what she did before coming to the hospital, they were shocked.

Emma was scheduled to take her driving test on the 30th of August 2011 but she woke up in the morning to realize that the baby was coming. She was not expecting the baby for another month. She revealed that she was not ready to have the test drive canceled so she ignored the pains and had the test.

The baby is the first child for Emma. The child has been named Eva MacFarlane.
