Wisconsin, Nov 20, (THAINDIAN NEWS) In one of the most bizarre incident to have ever happened in Wisconsin, a man was arrested as he shot his television after watching Bristol Palin’s ballroom dancing in “Dancing with the Stars”. Bristol Palin has already landed herself in hot waters as the media outlets came to a conclusion that the 19-year-old mother might be supported by Sarah Palin’s Tea Party members. However, 67-year-old man Steven Cowan, who shot his own television told the law enforcement officials that he feels Bristol Palin cannot dance well but she is in the dance reality show because of her mother.

The incident happened on Monday when, during the semi-final round Bristol Palin and her partner Mark Ballas performed Paso Double on stage. Steven Cowan’s wife said that after watching the performance, her husband became so furious that he fired a shot at his television set in a fit of rage. His wife described the incident and said that Steven Cowan jumped up and said some abusive language about “politics” after Bristol Palin’s performance. The 67-year-old man immediately got his shotgun and fired it on the television. The man was apparently so enraged that he aimed his gun at his wife as well but the latter managed to escape the scene.

The SWAT team immediately rushed to the scene and after much negotiation, Steven Cowan surrendered the next morning. However, after interrogation, the authorities have come to a conclusion that Steve Cowan has some mental problems and he is receiving treatment for it. However, he was still charged with second degree reckless endangerment and if convicted, he can face 10 years prison sentence.
