Washington state man accused of raping a goat
May 8th, 2010 - 4:57 pm ICT by BNO NewsWHATCOM COUNTY, WASHINGTON (BNO NEWS) — A Washington state man was arrested on Thursday on suspicion of raping a goat, police said on Saturday.
Gary A. Veldhuizen, 27, was taken into custody after a family member allegedly caught him sexually abusing a goat at a property near the city of Ferndale. The family member then contacted the Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office, who arrested him.
Police charged Veldhuizen with first-degree animal cruelty and booked him into the Whatcom County Jail.
The Whatcom Humane Society has taken custody of the goat.
