Ankara, Sept 27 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A morgue in Turkey has been fitted with motion sensors and alarms to ensure that people who wake up in the morgue can be saved on time. The sensor is reportedly very sensitive and will trigger the alarm when there is any kind of movement inside the freezer.

The officials at the morgue say there is an inside knob to help anyone who will wake up inside and want to get out. The officials hope that the new arrangement will help save the lives of those who are wrongly pronounced dead.

During an interview with the local media, an official called Akif Kayadurmus said that the morgue was designed with every possibility in mind. The official said that, “If the patient, proclaimed dead by doctors, awakens from a state of unconsciousness, then we consider each and every possibility.”

Though it may seem unlikely at this time and age, several people every year are pronounced dead and they end up living many more years. In the United States, thousands of reports of people who are erroneously declared dead come to the public attention each year.

The Turkish experiment is meant to prevent the burial of someone who may just unconscious.
