Topless and drunk woman steals wine from a store
May 24th, 2010 - 1:32 am ICT by Aishwarya BhattMinden, May 23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A topless and a drunk woman allegedly stole a bottle of wine from a store in Nevada. She was arrested subsequently and is now being charged for indecent exposure, felony drunken driving and burglary. The incident happened on the 10th of May.
She stole a bottle of wine that was worth $20, and then she also drove to a fast-food restaurant to catch a bite. But apparently she was not lucky enough. As there an off-duty sheriff’s deputy was able to keep her in her vehicle, while he waited for the police to arrive. Then when the police arrived, then they tested her blood alcohol level and found that it was 0.14 %, which is almost double the legal limit. She was subsequently arrested.
The 41-year-old woman is an inhabitant of Gardnerville, and she was identified as Brandi Smith. At a court hearing she confessed that her behavior on the 10th of May was ‘mindboggling’. The judge has set her bail amount at $5000. And this is not the first time that she is in legal trouble. In the past too, she has had two convictions of DUI.
