Timothy Fattig arrested for living with dead mother
March 14th, 2011 - 10:53 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLondon, Mar 14 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Police have arrested horror film director Timothy Fattig for living with his dead mother.
The 34-year-old was arrested after he lied to the police about where his mother was. Concerned neighbors called the police and reported that it has been quite a while since they last saw Ms Fattig. The police acted on the call and checked in her property. When they questioned Fattig, he told them that his mother was in the hospital but that turned out to be false and got the police suspicious.
The police subsequently searched the property and found the skeletal remains of Ms Fattig. Fattig has been charged with negligent homicide but authorities hinted that the charge could be brought to failure to report death if the autopsy report reveals that there was no foul play.
During his caution statement, Fattig told the investigators that he was so shocked after seeing his mother’s remains that he didn’t have the strength to report her death. He instead told family and friends that his mother is receiving treatment at a facility in a nearby town. He lived with the dead woman for about a year before the revelation.
Fattig works with Desert Scream Productions as a filmmaker and it seems he practiced a scene from one of his horror movies..
