Sacramento, July 27 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A thin woman passenger was asked to get off a flight that was Sacramento bound. The woman who is 5 foot 4 inches tall and weighed 110 pounds was removed from the flight because she occupied the only available seat which was needed by another special passenger - an overweight frequent passenger who required two seats.
The woman who had barely settled in her was asked to vacate the seat because another overweight passenger who needed two seats had just checked in. The woman also protested vehemently, but to no avail.
The incident is not the first by the Southwest Airlines. The airliner made headlines when they removed an overweight passenger from a flight. But the airliner maintains that its policy on such incident is to ask passengers to volunteer their seat. It ought to be mentioned that the overweight passenger had paid for just one seat. And according to reports, the overweight passenger was just 14 years old, so that might be the reason why the airline accommodated the teen.
The airliner says they will apologize to the passenger for the embarrassment. The incident happened during a flight from Las Vegas to Sacramento last week. It remains to be seen how the latest incident affects the airliner.

The kid was a frequent passenger so the airline knew or should have known he required two seats but did not charge him for the extra seat. Something is seriously wrong with this picture.
