Lubbock, Texas, Nov 29 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Firefighters in Texas were called in to rescue a man who got stuck in a chimney. The firefighters used a rope to get the man out of his entrapment.

The unnamed 22-year-old man had returned from town with his wife and child only to realize that they have been locked out. The man thought he could take the easy way out by getting into the house through the chimney. As the wife and the child waited outside, the man made his way to the roof and entered the chimney.

The wife called the emergency service when he realized her husband was in trouble. When the firefighters got to the house, they used a rope to get the man out of the chimney. He was not seriously injured when he was brought out.

Last week, a would-be burglar got stuck in the chimney. Firefighters had to rescue him before handing him to the police who took him to custody. The owner of the house was away at the time of the incident.

In London, about 10 firefighters spent almost half-an-hour to free a man who had placed a ring on his penis. The hospital could not get the ring off and had to call the firefighters who ended up cutting the ring.
