Teen Passes Driving Test, Crashes Into DMV - All In A Day
October 15th, 2010 - 8:35 pm ICT by Pen Men At WorkOctober 15, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): It’s all in a day’s work - a teenager passed his driving test in Pittsburg, and no sooner did he become a licensed driver, he crashed into the DMV.
In the Bridgeville suburb of Pittsburg, a teenage boy went for his driving test at a DMV and must have been elated when the administrator declared that he had passed the test. But unfortunately the joy didn’t last for long as he crashed his car into the DMV.
Though not gravely, the accident injured a 12 year old girl, who got 12 stitches on her back. No charges are issued against the driver but the boy was very much shaken up by the incident.
According to the police and the local news agencies of Pittsburg, the accident happened as the teen went back to the DMV to drop the instructor off. The teenager misjudged the space where he was to park and in a panic, hit the gas instead of the brakes.
The result was that he slammed the car through the glass facade of the DMV office, which shattered and brought the front door off its hinges. No other damages to the DMV building have been reported.
