Tampa, Feb 22 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A woman figured out the perfect way to let his son know that she is not pleased with his grades.

Ronda Holder labeled her 15-year-old son and placed him on the side of the road so that passers-by could see him. The sign that Ronda made her son wear read among other things “GPA 1.22 … honk if I need education.”

Some have criticized Ronda for the action saying that it humiliated the child. They claim that it would rather backfire and would not in any way encourage the child to improve.

Ronda does not believe that. She said that after trying anything possible to get her son, James Mond III, to improve academically failed, she believes that the move is the only way to get the child to improve.

Though the bad grades were irritating enough for Ronda and her husband, she explained that she decided to take James through the ordeal after he showed disrespect during a school meeting the day earlier. She maintains that she did what she did to save the education of her child.

Ronda has been reported to the Department of Children and Families.
