November 3, 2010 (Pen Men At Work): Spiderman and Captain America reportedly clashed against each other on Halloween weekend. Police officials have slapped charges against two men who engaged in a scuffle inside a parking garage at Stamford. Police reports from the Connecticut police station claim that the men who are now under arrest were dressed as Spiderman and Captain America, their disguise for the Halloween season.

The two men who engaged in the brawl were identified as Michael Sanchez and Vincent DeCarlo, who adopted the Captain America and the Spiderman looks respectively. Lt. Elizabeth Erickson from the Stamford police came across the fighting superheroes inside the Stamford parking place on Halloween day.

A police representative said that it was the 21 year old Vincent DeCarlo who first hit out at the 25 year old Michael Sanchez, and one hit was soon followed by several others, before the police had to intervene. In fact, Vincent DeCarlo’s girlfriend Nicole Bitterli was also present at the parking garage when the scuffle between the two took place. The 18 year old girl was reportedly dressed up as Poison Ivy. Police claim that she too hit out at Michael Sanchez.

The case is still under investigation under the Connecticut police. While superheroes Spiderman and Captain America have been charged with assault in a public place, Nicole Bitterli has also been accused of creating a breach of peace. Police did not have the names of the lawbreakers’ attorneys.
