London, Nov 29 (THAINDIAN NEWS) After five years, a family has been reunited with their stolen dog. The owner Pat Oates was shocked when the dog was recently returned to her because she has given up all hope of ever finding the canine again.

The 12-year-old animal named T-Bone went missing from its home in 2006. Pat says the animal was snatched from the driveway and she feared that it was going to be used for criminal activities. Her efforts to track the animal failed so she gave up her search for T-Bone until she got that call that the animal has been found.

A bus driver spotted the animal during a ride from Birmingham city centre to Solihull. The driver then picked the animal up and when the microchip was scanned, the owner came up as Pat.

Ecstatic, Pat said that, ‘We never in a million years thought we would ever see him again – he had vanished completely. I just broke down in tears. It is like having your child back – we are complete again.”

The animal is general healthy with the exception of a cyst that he has developed. T-Bone has also lost part of its hearing due to the apparent neglect of its abductors.
