Brooklyn, Dec 20 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The police have arrested a Brooklyn man for strangulating his mother to death.

Yefim Tsirinsky called the police immediately after the incident and claimed that his 86-year-old mother wanted him to kill her. When the police arrived at the house, they found that the mother was unresponsive but she was still alive.

The police then took her to the hospital where she died the following day. As a result, the police have charged Tsirinsky with second degree murder and have also charged her him with first-and second-degree strangulation.

Tsirinsky maintains that his mother did not want to live again and urged him to kill her. He claims that he heeded to the request and suffocated her with a pillow. That was when he called the police and told them that, “I just smothered my mother; I just suffocated my mother.”

Neighbors were shocked about the incident because they saw Tsirinsky as a devoted son that took care of his wheelchair-bound mother.

The police say there was no sign of struggle and initial forensic investigations reveal that the woman was wide awake when the incident happened.
