Bronx, Jan 20 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A court has ruled that a couple in Bronx could be evicted from their home because of a “singing” dog. The New York Daily News broke the story.

The dog is a Maltese Rocky and the dog incredibly howls along whenever the couple sings. The couple, Rita and Murray Hyman believe that the decision to evict them from the house because of the dog is not fair.

According to the building management company that handles the apartment, the couple breached the no-pet policy of the apartment. The couple argues that the dog which belongs to their daughter does not stay in the apartment. It just comes for a visit from time to time. The court does not believe that and has ruled that the couple can be evicted because they have violated the rule.

Rita has declared that they will fight the ruling to the last legal limit. She revealed that since she became disabled as a result of a 2003 car accident, the dog has been her major companion. She can’t imagine the dog being taken away from her.

She has formed such a strong bong with the canine that she asked, “Who will I sing with?” when the dog is taken away.
