New York, Mar 1 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A deer saved the day on Sunday by scaring away a woman’s attacker. The police say the man had attacked the woman and was trying to strangle her when the deer came out of the woods and attacked the man. The attacker fled and the woman was saved.

When the woman went to the police, they determined that nothing was stolen from her. The police narrates that the attacker approached the woman and asked her to be quiet. After that, he dragged her as he tried to strangle her.

He took nothing and the police have not yet given the identity of the man or the woman. The woman was left with red marks and had bruises following the attack.

Officers believe the animal was resting and became startled when the woman started screaming.
