Russian prison to install sunbeds to improve the health of their inmates

The prison is noted for holding some high profile figures previously. Authorities at the 19th century built Butyrka prison in Central Moscow announced.
The prison officials announced that the move will help improve the health of their inmates. The new move is especially welcomed after a high profile inmate, Sergei Magnitsky died in the jail in Nov. last year. Sergei was the lawyer of Russia’s once biggest equity and his death brought a lot of pressure on the prison authorities to improve conditions.
The head of the prison, Sergei Telyatnikov announced on radio that, “We are developing additional medical services … and even sunbeds will be put in place”. The prison has highly been criticized for being too overcrowded. The prison is said to be poorly managed and the authorities want to ensure that they do not have that tag hanging around their neck for that long.
The prison also plans to install spa facilities at the prison. With the current system, prison inmates will be given access to ultrasound systems and the authorities hope that that will help check the poor medical facilities that exists in most of the facilities.
