Runaway armoured car smashes into the Nethercott’s garage

Shaftesbury, Jan 13 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Nethercott’s family home was just missed when an runaway armoured military vehicle smashed into their garage and completely destroyed it.

At the time that that accident happened, the family was just about to sit down and have their dinner. The story may have been worse if the military car had not just stopped few yards away from the house.

The devastation was caused after the car managed to move from the premises of the Universal Engineering and rolled to somehow smash the garage.

The garage that was destroyed in the accident belonged to the Nethercott family. The vehicle is valued at £1 million and it is specially made to withstand the attacks that the Taliban insurgents bring to the coalition troops in Afghanistan.

Universal Engineering declined to comment on the accident because they claim that the issue now in the hands of the police.

The spokesman for the company said that, “It is now a police matter and it would not be right to comment at this stage.”

It was not clear whether the company will compensate the family of Nethercott for the accident. However the company is set to help the family to clear the mess that the smash-in caused.
